How to set pricing

Greetings everyone,

I am a software developer with an entrepreneurial bent and I have been wanting to develop software on my own for resale purposes for some time now. I've come up with an idea of a web based service that helps real estate agents get feedback after their listings are shown.

My problem is this: I have no idea how to price the service. I could charge per realtor, per month, per listing, per year, and on and on...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? What has worked for you guys in the past?

Many Thanks,

Jack Lunn

Hi Jack,

Your best bet by far is to buy Dr. Ken Evoy's 2002 manual - Make Your Site Sell ($25.00 U.S.). He includes in his new 2002 version how to price products and he is an expert. The address is :

Hope this helps you,

I've worked with many realtors and their promotions. I don't understand what you mean by, "helps agents get feedback after their listings are shown".

By this do you when "other" agents show a listing the "other" agents go to a website and register the comments they received from their prospects?

WHAT is the MAIN BENEFIT of your "service"? WHY would a real estate agent pay for your service?
