Re: How 'bout ONE? Will that do it?

I doubt it!

As someone who ACTUALLY BOUGHT Don's program, I will tell you that you get exactly what you need from him to generate the kind of money he's talking about.

Did I? No. I fell into the "FEAR" category. I let myself be INTIMIDATED by the success so many others on the 'net are enjoying. And I wanted what you seem to want - - plunk down the money, be rich by next week. I took the easy way out, took a job, and tried to be satisfied. Of course I promised myself I would do it - - soon. Yeah, right.

So how do I qualify as someone to speak up in support of Don and his products? Easy. You see, that job evaporated. And I was faced with looking again, or returning to my "sure-fire, they ALWAYS NEED ME skill - Math teacher.

But I was surfing, rekindled my desire to run my own shop, and HAPPENED ACROSS A BRILLIANT IDEA. Uh, by the way, DON ALM tossed it out there, as he does and has for as long as I've known of him.

That idea dove-tails nicely with FAXBUX, and I am taking the steps I need to implement them both, starting with the NEW idea, because I like it better. Wanna guess what my first step was? I EMAILED Don. I dumped my fears on him. And you know what? He got back to me the next day with valuable suggestions on how to proceed. Mind you, this is several years AFTER my purchase, and I WASN'T BUYING ANYTHING when I emailed him! And we never even discussed FAXBUX, beyond my mentioning it to see if he remembered me. He did.

There is NO DOUBT IN MY MIND that I will be as FREE of money worries as Don is, and pretty darn quickly. Because I will work. Because his program and FREE IDEA and ADVICE ON HOW TO PROCEED have given me the MATERIALS with which to work, (notice, I didn't say a program that works. That's MY job). And he's given me a confidence and courage I did not have before. Plus the fact that if I write or call again, I know that he'll do help again.

The real deal is this: If you recognize a good idea, you can implement it yourself, with a little thinking. So I'm guessing you weren't really asking for "testimonials."

So, I'm only one. But then, it only takes one to convince you. That one is YOU.

Thanks, Mike. And don't be surprised if I take you up on it!

My biggest fear in offline ventures is that of 'face-to-face' selling. I'm coming to remember that fear is never a reason not to act. Uh, let me restate that positively: fear is ok, just do it anyway.

I remember that every year I had a new group of students, I always got that nervousness about what I was doing. Think about it! 25 to 30 young minds that were exclusively mine for a year to develop! But I did it anyway because I was excited about teaching.

This new idea is kind of the same thing. It helps business owners (at a time when they sorely need it!) and I'm excited about offering it to them.

So, I just might be writing to you from time to time on the finer points of this face-to-face selling.

Thanks again!
Mary

The Rewards Are Great!

Mary ~

What you are experiencing is the adrenaline flow resulting in the typical "Fight or Flight" response.

When confronted with certain situations, like a sales situation, some will charge in while others will avoid it at all costs. There are even sales people who will use "Creative Avoidance" as an excuse in order to keep delaying the inevitable meeting with someone.

In the past I've worked with people who would literally alphabetize their prospect lists! Re-organize this, feel the need to "check the files", and a host of other "activities". Rather than to go out and "visit" with someone.

Remember, if you're in sales you need to be sitting across from someone, or getting your message out if you're working via the Internet. Any other activity is non-productive. Especially if you're commission based.

Use your "Fear of Rejection" as a motivator. Challenge yourself by thinking of the greater rewards at the end of the sale. I've even driven around a block two or three times before going into the business to begin a cold call. It's normal. The difference between a top salesperson and it's opposite, is how they react to the fear. We all have it in varying degrees.

The worst that can happen is to hear a "No". No one will attack you! A hint??? Join a local Toastmasters International group in your area and get used to speaking in front of a group. The publics "Biggest Fear" is public speaking. Toastmaster's is a tremendous organization! And they are all on your side.

Once you overcome the fear of speaking there, an individual business person is no big deal!

Success and Regards... Mike
