For all those believers in the lost city of Atlantis...

Here is an interesting update on that "city" found a half mile under the water off of the western tip of Cuba.

And more... http://www.earthfiles.com/earth304.htm

Some are speculating that this might have some connection to the story of a sunken island called Atlantis which has been a very controversial legend.

Inscriptions were found with lettering that is "Greek-like" -- but not Greek.

Hmmmm....wonder if Ben Suarez is already hard at work with some kind of promotion connected to this exciting discovery?

This could be bigger than the Titanic promotion, yeah? ;-)

Cheers!

Wow, Amber!!

Thanks for alerting me to this! What an exciting topic to bring up with my friends and family.

This morning on the way to school we were working on creativity questions. (Katherine actually instigated this one). We were working on connectivity.

"What do a Bumble Bee and this Road have in common?"

Great stuff and amazing what the kids come up with. Emma is especially amusing and MAN is her brain getting a preschool workout!

Great to see you here, my almost sister, Amber!

And another Atlantis possibility....

Hi Amber,

Thanks, I thought that was fascinating! I have an interest in these ancient "myths".... :)

It's definitely an existing niche market too. Hmmm.... Maybe I'll create some "Atlantis"-related projects some day.... I think it could be fun. :)

Another possible explanation for "Atlantis" is that it was an island, which got swamped when the sea levels rose about 11,000 years ago (due to the end of the last Ice Age). I've linked to an article about that below....

Thanks Amber.... I do find this all interesting! I love ancient mysteries.... :)

An alternative explanation for Atlantis....

That was a good read, Dien...

Wonder if we will have any resolution of these mysteries in our lifetimes?
Hope so. :-)

Yeah, what a fun market niche this could be, for sure.

Cheers!

Makes for good party chat, too...

Hey Julie!

Glad that you found that information interesting. It makes my imagination go into 'overtime'. ;-)

Bring it up at a holiday party as the evening wears on and people grow rather bored with all the same old 'chit chat'...and I assure you that people will crowd around and listen attentively. Happened to me a few nights ago.

I just clicked on your link and read about your gratitude garden project. Stirred me to action...and I'll be sending you a rock, as you suggested, from my special rock collection in a large container that sits near my desk. I'll engrave a word or two on it, as well. How's that for including my message?

The ingenuity of your activities with Emma and Katherine are priceless contributions to their development. Just keep it up and by their adulthood, you are going to reap the rewards of having raised some VERY interesting people, Julie. :-)

Warmly,
Amber
