Gordon..my question is...
Blocks...
I've read the books, listened to the tapes, even tried different small businesses. So on some level I know I can do whatever I want. But then.... I hit the wall...I call it "the blocks." Studying the DOL made me realize the multiple forces in our lives which we contend with everyday(either consciously or unconsciously) I don't think I'm alone...I realize now I'm in the parade and it will come to an end. The"end" is edging closer. Now from doing the exercises I realize my problem is "enjoying each step in the parade". Seeing life as a process and doing something for the sheer love of it. I see the obstacles from my past which brought rain to my parade. How does one identify from the "lakes" which one to pursue? Is there some "attraction" or intuitive process which draws people to different lakes? Knowing I'm at the halfway point of the life line and knowing how fast the last half went by, leaves me feeling rushed. "The perception of being rushed" leaves me anxious and contributes to this acquisition of knowledge which in turn eats up more time. Can you give me some insights on enjoying the parade, staying in the moment and setting reasonable goals? I hope all of this makes sense to you. |
