First, if you'd like to post without registering, please at least enter some kind of "handle" or "name" - otherwise we have a dozen or so people here with the name "Unregistered"... Which is kind of weird... It certainly doesn't encourage a reply (who likes to reply to someone who won't even give you a name?).

Anyway... here's an idea Phil is probably referring to...

From one of Phil's links...

Quote:

http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/news/21...s-customizable

"Google has launched a new service that allows users to create customized search engines.

[...]

The company said that only non-profits, universities and government agencies will be able to block ads from appearing on the results page. For other users, Google is offering the option of connecting an Adsense account into the engine, allowing the user to make money from clicks originating from their search engine pages."
Hope that makes it clear!

Thanks for the "heads up" on this, Phil! (Another great post!)

Re: Your own "Google" Niche Search Engine. Google to World: A piece of GOOG $$$ Billions!

thanks Phil....

niches...google that and see what happens...I did it on wordtracker and results were those little figurines your mother used to fill up the corner bracker shelves and collect dust ...

heh heh

but I digress....

seems to others that it is an easy procedure to find a niche, then a sub niche then a sub sub ..and to others ..(guilty)..I find it difficult to even start...

maybe I will try to use a frquently used search term....

and then get the results...

then pick one of those results with the search terms...and

repeat....

then gotta find a product ...or a hotsheet ..or white paper...

so ........

anyone else ?
