Hi,

Gordon and Dien, congratulations on your new outstanding endeavor - this discussion place!

Here is the question.

One of my friends just bought a special gift for his wife (they celebrated their 25th anniversary).

He bought her a...star.

A certificate of "ownership" to be exact.

My wife's reaction was: "Nuts!"

Verily, "nutty" people buy and sell different kinds of "chattel" - Brooklyn Bridges, stars, Lincoln Farms.

So, in a couple of days I am opening my new "Business Nuts" group for information exchange on the most weird, funny, "nutty" businesses that believe it or not pay well.

The problem is that another friend found the name "Business Nuts" highly OFFENSIVE.

Full of SEXUAL connotations (his judgement).

Probably I am dumb, but I just don't hear those connotations in this simple word-play.

Do you?

Please help.

no one thought of the type of nuts
your friend was thinking off...I'm

'Business Nuts' - cracking name!

Just back from shopping...bought a new door handle in: KNOBS AND KNOCKERS.

"Nuts" is okay....

***I find this to be INCREDIBLY romantic! What a cool gift! That way, they will ALWAYS have that star to look towards. I think its a great idea. I think your FRIEND has a shallow wife who is not deserving of such a creative thinker!

I don't find it offensive, I think this friend is overly sensitive. I actually find it more offensive if you are somehow mocking people with mental illness. We all have our quirks I suppose.
Can't please all the people all of the time....

You should see what we get with The Naked PC. I'm surprised at some of the sites who link to us - and consistently send us traffic. Although I'm not sure the traffic they send us hangs around very long after seeing what we are about!
