How do I find the owner of a website for contact purposes?
 

A friend was a frequent contributor to the www.joegenius.com website, which was discontinued in May of this year (2006). She was interested in purchasing the site from the owner, but has been unable to contact that person.

Several years ago someone-Dean or Michael Ross- told how it was possible to find out who the owner of a particular website was, and how to find their contact information such as their address. Does anyone know how to do this for the www.joeGeinus.com website? Your help would be greatly appreciated. It was a great site, and would be good if it can be continued.
(My friend was the top answerer of questions, and had about twice as many accepted answer-poiints as the next highest person.)

Go to http://www.whois.sc/ and put the domain name (http://www.joegenius.com) in, and you will get the info you are looking for.
