On the "short" list of titles:

Selling with Integrity - Morgan
Getting Things Done - Allen (reread)
Training Trances - Overdurf
Let's Get Real or Let's Not Play - Khalsa
Release of the Spirit - Nee (reread)

Plus a string of books related to certain interests that would be of little interest to anyone outside those areas.

It's insightful to look for common themes in what we read. Communication is one that frequently pops up for me.

Certainly interesting ideas you've thrown out.

"Release of the Spirit" by Nee. Is that Watchman
Nee, by any chance? That name has always stuck in
my head, I guess 'cuz my mother read some of his
stuff years ago (maybe recently, too, for all I
know), and I remember seeing an old, dog-eared
copy of one of his books in her small
"collection", along with Hal Lindsey's "Late,
Great Planet Earth" and others.

Yes it is. Most likely your mother had "The Normal Christian Life" which is very good as well. The message in this book is not an easy one and most people would not care for it at all.

"Late Great Planet Earth" -- given a choice I'd take the Watchman Nee book. If you can find a biography of Nee it is inspiring. Lived in China - spent a lot of time in prison for his beliefs.

Have a good day!
