In need of add-on suggestion

Hi all,

Can anybody suggest a good idea?

I'm getting ready to offer some high-end goods to a mid- to high-income fashion-minded female customer base. But I'd like to build up perceived value by adding tangible or intangible (preferably intangible) goods or services.

I'm not having an easy time coming up with some great add-ons that would strongly appeal to a professional female who thinks of herself as a sophisticated consumer with great taste.

I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.

Mark

Mark:

Is this thing you want to add-on to be a part of what they get when they buy your goods? That is, it arrives with their goods - if it's tangible?

Here's what I'm thinking...

An EXCLUSIVE email club where you source other tangible goods that appeal to the market - your customers - and offer them on a regular basis.

Designer Label Perfume/Parfum, for instance (The wholesale - retail price difference would make your head spin). You can buy at wholesale give, them a way below retail price and still make a bundle. And the beauty is... fragrance is a consumable.

But deals on other items besides fragrance would see you make an offer say, once a month or once a week.

If it's something that goes out with the product they buy... then you might want to give them a choice of a few bonus items (wouldn't want to offer perfume and miss out on a sale because the woman doesn't want perfume).

Would they go for a massage, or hair treatment, or nail treatment?

Get those who provide those services to GIVE you the service in exchange for getting a customer (having a customer handed to them on a silver platter) who could be worth loads over the years ahead. Use Leverage.

Let us know what the item is you're selling and maybe we can come up with a ride-along that would fit perfectly.

Hi Michael;

Thank you very much for your help.

The goods I'm trying to sell are high-end ladies leather handbags. Given the high price of these items catering to the womam who has the money for indulging herself makes more sense to me. The highly fashion-conscious type.

But I also want to make the deal I offer her so irresistible and unique that she just HAS TO get MY bags.

I hope this clarifies things a bit more.

Again, thanks Michael!

Wishing you all the best,

Mark

Aha!

Look into wallets and phone accessories and cosmetic bags. Stuff that women carry in their purses.

You could add a nice line of pens as well(Waterman, Mont Blanc (at the highest end))

This is why...

I don't jump head firt into the female market place.

I'm thinking, handbags and shoes and possibly some of the other items I mentioned. I never would have thought of the items that go IN a handbag, because I don't know what they are, because I am not a woman.

Shows how important it is to know your market.

Michael Ross.
