As the song goes - "everything old is new again"! Who knows which of these may come around again.... In fashion, flares came around again - and I have a feeling that we are entering a "disco" revival era. Better get your mirror balls before your neighbor beats you to it! ;)



After reading your post the other day, Gordon, I watched an episode of SpongeBob Squarepants! For those who want to watch it, it's on Nickelodeon (on cable TV).... Wow, that's a wacky cartoon! (I enjoyed it!) :)

What creeps me out is that I HAVE a bunch of those "old" issues in one of the...
 

...many boxes of "stuff" in my office. And I REMEMBER what I was doing when I read those suckers. (Those full page biz op ads were truly the stuff of dreams and enormous frustration at the same time.)

You know, just thinking about those pre-computer days just makes me nostalgic -- and a bit nauseated. Doing paste ups... ordering typesetting from the typesetter (and by golly, you had to spec that right the first time, because it was so darn expensive)... writing and editing using a TYPEWRITER... heck, even using MIMEOGRAPHS! How many skills have I mastered over the years that have become completely archaic?
