How to get Subscribers with PostCards!
Hello....someone asked, a few days ago, about needing help on getting subscribers to a Newsletter using PostCards.
I looked at the responses and wrote down MY "answer" (which I tried a number of years ago, that worked for me) All of the responses were based on letting the PostCard "PROMPT A POSITIVE RESPONSE" from recipients. NOT ONE response had even an inkling about using something which the "Book Of The Month Club" used to build a billion dollar business. Maybe they didn't remember or never knew about HOW the "Book or Record of the Month Club" works! They work on NEGATIVE PSYCHOLOGY! You are Subscribing them to your Newsletter and IF they do NOT wish to receive it...they can send you a "remove". Most people will NOT spend the Time to "remove"! 1) Headline should be a GRABBER and a "REASON WHY" they should spend another second reading the rest of the message.
2) Hit them with BENEFITS ASAP!...and "REASONS WHY" your newsletter will HELP THEM! 3) Tell them you will be sending them a FREE copy and if they do not wish to receive a free subscription or free copy to ....call or email or fax or phone you!...and you won't send it! (depending on how you are set up) 3% to 6% WILL CALL and ask you NOT to send! Which is OK...because 94% WILL accept. Don Alm |
