a group in New Zealand
 

Hello everybody,

would anybody be interested in a group meeting in Auckland once a month with a guest speaker and an open disscussion forum. There would only need to be a minimal charge to cover the cost of room hire say $10. Let me know if there is any interest. Some of the topics I suggest being covered are Investing, stocks and share buying, Real Estate purchasing, AIP's and other Rich Dad and John Burley type products.

Local investment groups....
 

I think local investment groups are great idea.... In fact, a friend of mine just organized one here (which I'm a member of).

The idea is that a small bunch of us get together every couple weeks, and one of us presents a talk on a relevant topic - which could be running a business, investing in real estate, stocks, selling on eBay, or more exotic topics.

We all know different things and have different experiences, so by sharing what we know we all can gain....

I think these are a great idea - good luck with your group!

By the way, our group is quite small, and we just meet in people's houses, and order pizza for sustenance.... It sounds like you're organizing something bigger (which sounds good too)....
