How to sell a lot in multi level marketing?

Lately I've been approached about buying products
from Multi Level Marketers...(need to vent and
perhaps this will help someone)...I'm one of those
people who like to buy quality products from QVC, HSN and Multi-level marketers. I like having
door to door delivery.(yes there are a few of
my kind left) However,I see sales people making the same mistakes made over and over. If you want
to sell more products to consumers:

1) make sure your customers get a copy of your
sales brochures(you'd be surprised how many
salespeople think it costs too much to buy
sales literature)

2) make sure you represent a company whose
products you like; and share the benefits of the products(actually, I think you should know all the benefits of EVERY SINGLE product you represent-hopefully from personal
experience.

3) Give your customer samples ...

4) Get to know your customer and listen to
their needs and desires; it just might help
you to determine what they need from your
product line...

Thanks for letting me vent....

Sandy-

Excellent! This doesn't sound like venting...it sounds like exceptional observations that are critical for success. Good for you.

I market PrePaid Legal Services. You can bet I'm listening. Thank you for the wake up.

Take care,
Cade

selling things like financial/legal services

Cade...one of my cousins sells Pre-paid
legal services...I have this benefit through
my job....but anyway I've been approached
about buying this service and also approached
by another friend about buying financial
services such as IRA's , insurance and others
through Citigroup Primerica...

I'd like to share some observations, since I
often buy many things through multilevel marketing. It's helpful to give a customer
a run down of all your services and the pros
and cons of each vehicle and how it might
benefit your customers' particular situation.

When my cousin tried to sell me on pre-paid
legal services he did not take the time to
find out: if I had already been covered for
legal services, what my plan covered, what type
of situations I might need coverage for...

I think it would be helpful to promote yourself
and services with a tipsbooklet (something which
would capture the attention of your customer
and could become an educational tool on why and under what circumstances legal help is needed ...I could envision a booklet with common legal
problems everyone might face and some educational tips...
