"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work"

...so PAY ATTENTION next time it knocks, and don't worry how it is dressed!

Have a great holiday everyone!

Jim, what a great headline. That's something that sales people learn very quickly - not to pre-judge how much money someone has by the way they're dressed.

You can't judge a book by it's cover!!

First Impressions DO count

You may have a great book, but you'll have to tell me more before I get your free book and get on your mailing list!

Hmmm

Seems a bit harsh, Lesley!

Why not just take a chance? You can always unsubscribe later.

In actual fact, I downloaded Peter's book and it is a useful resource with some intelligent thinking behind it.

And if you want to know more about Peter, you can read an interview I did with him in my book 'Success Stories - 12 Doers Share Their Secrets' - downloadable at the link below (no email address necessary).

I hope that helps.

Best wishes,

Martin.

Sorry - no offence meant

Sorry Martin and Peter - I didn't mean my comment to refer to Peter's book, I was generalising on the overalls issue, when I said first impressions do count.
In truth, I have been spammed so much lately, that unless an opt-in assures me that my email address will never be sold or given out to anyone, I don't sign up for anything, even if it's free.
I wish I didn't feel so afraid - but I have spent so many hours deleting junk which can't be filtered lately, and been sent a worm to boot, that I'm probably over-cautious.

Thanks for the link
