Hi Gordon,

First let me say I regret not being able to attend your "July 5th bash." After planning on attending for approximately 5 weeks, not being able to do so was *quite* disappointing.

I agree totally! In my excitement, I may have come across that I am ready to put my "system's packet" together this evening. :-)

No, I want to repeat the same test again, and each time with totally different items in different categories.

Yet, if the system I created works each time, then I will know I have a winning system. Why? Because just like in sales... if one can successfully sell cars, one can also sell houses. Because the art of selling is still the same... just a different product to a different market.

Yes, I believe $4,000.00 in sales in a 10 day period is possible... but in only 10 hours? Maybe this person just doesn't count every hour into the formula like I do.

But, then I know people who tell me they work 8 hours a day... they just forget to mention the time they spend around the others' work areas, extra trips to the water cooler, surfing the Internet, etc. :-)

As you may have guessed... I'm more of a literal type person. :-)

As for the $4,000, however, I think for most of the everyday people on the street, they wouldn't believe this.

It goes back to "it's too good to be true" or "it can't be *that* easy."

That's why I didn't involve anything I already own into my test. And, also, why I got my items to sell on ebay from garage sales and an auction.

I wanted to test the most simple way I thought anyone could get an "inventory" that would create a QUICK turn around on their dollar.

Also, I didn't want to create a system that created more than a 10 day inventory at a time. I know one gentleman that got into selling on ebay... and now he doesn't have room in his 1 car garage for his car anymore.

Don't even ask how his wife feels about this. To me it sounds too much like MLM. :-)

No, I wanted to test a system for people who just want to pay a little extra on their credit card this month, or maybe have a little extra cash in their pocket to take the family to the zoo.

My test was not meant for people who are wanting to sell on ebay as a means of a livelihood. (Although that has been proven to work.)

"...products and systems and methods." I think this is where the personal experience of Jim and I comes into play. It's not a new area for us... just a different marketing method.

Excellent questions! Well, I have to admit... going to the auction and garage sales was a rare treat for me. I spend *so* much time sitting at the computer that just getting out and about was fun! And, the other people there where having fun too.

Yes. The main thing I believe my system would offer is that it was created based on almost 30 years of personal combined direct mail, copywriting, and sales experience. Which is why it only took 7 hours to put together... 30 years experience makes for short learning curves. :-)
