Help! My Corporation Needs A Visa Card!!!
 

I've always had perfect credit and have had companies falling all over themselves to give me credit cards.

However, I just incorporated my business and applied for the OfficeDepot Visa Business card.

Guess what?

I was declined. The reason that they gave was that I "Was not in business long enough."

However, I need a card to run/pay for services, especially over the internet.

Does anyone know of a company that issues cards for such situations?

P.S. It didn't matter to them that I was personally the guarantor for the biz. card.

Hi, Adam,
You could try this place http://adv2.advanta.com/ . I don't know if they have minimum time in business requirements. They put your company name right on the card (which generates some inquiries about your biz from places you use it that see the actual card.)

Couldn't you use a debit card? I do that frequently and it works quite well. Of course the downside is that you have to have the money in the account.
