Banknotes, shredded money, and more stuff I'm looking for!

I'm looking for:

- A few makers of those bags of shredded US currency.

- A source of old banknotes from around the world. Single notes like most collectors and hobbiest sites list for sale won't do. They have a few at the most. I'm looking for bulk. If they specialize in wholesale and bulk (dealer quantites) they'll say so on their site. Like 1000 pieces of foreign banknotes that are practically worthless and go for like $50. I found one or two but the bank notes they carried were very, very limited. I need banknotes from lots of different countries. Yes, I know I won't be able to find cheap ones for all countries, but I'm looking for under a dollar and huge quantities.

- New banknotes. Ones currently being used in foreign countries. I'm not up to date on exchange rates and which countries are strong against the dollar or weak, so I'm looking for all of it. I'm looking for a US company that I can deal with to get small amounts of nominal bills from other countries. Yes, I know this request is a pain in the ass.

I know my two posts tonite have just been gimme, gimme, gimme. I'll try to make sure I give when I have a worthwhile idea too. Don't worry.

Success,

Erik Lukas

300 Million Coins and Banknotes in Stock-210 Countries

Erik Lukas,

Here is the address of a company from an ad I clipped from the back of a magazine recently.

Educational Coin Company
PO Box 892
Highland, NY 12528
Ph. 845-691-6100 x.11
Fax 845-691-4974

The ad reads:

Money Talks
Sending Money Makes Money
Attention-Grabbing, Inexpensive,
Genuine World Money for Promotions of All Kinds
300 Million Coins & Banknotes in Stock-210 Countries

I'm not endorsing these guys since I have not done business with them...just happen to have clipped the ad recently thinking I would contact them in the future. If you do follow through with them, let me know how it goes...

Be blessed,

JDB

Educational Coin is an honorable company...

A collectible mail order company I was with, used product from Educational Coin quite often... They're a good company to do business with.

Re: What would one do with shredded money ?

Just an idea for a grabber to include in a letter.

"Don't waste your money."

"This is what happens without our tax savings manual."

etc,etc...

:)

I guess I'd already found them. They've got a ton of world bank notes, but their selection is a little less extensive than I would've liked.
