Anyone Use eBay To Sell Chattel?
Is anyone using eBay to sell chattel instead of newspaper classifieds. If so,do you like your results?

Yes Yes Yes
Ebay is one of my favorite places to sell chattel. That said ebay works best for certain types of chattel. Collectables being one area I like to use ebay. I search ebay for item that I think I might find at flea markets. It is important to always look for items that are getting bids. You can then make a list of items and prices that they sold for. With this "cheat sheet" you know how much you can spend to buy your chattel. I really like "newer" collectables, items made in the 1940's - 1970's. You still find some real good deals with these items.
Another area I like to use ebay from are business items. I have made some real good money with business class printers. I buy them at local business auctions and sell them on ebay. The real key is to know how much an item will sell for on ebay. There is no real magic here you just have to spend time researching ebay. But it does get easier once you start doing a few items. You start learning what items you can expect to find locally and how much they are worth on ebay. Happy Chatteling, Les > Is anyone using eBay to sell chattel instead > of newspaper classifieds. Are you able to use ebay following the chattel
"G-plan" like it is taught in the report,or do you have to change some things? Also,I'am just curious about something. I bought my Chattel Report in 1997. I was wondering if the newer versions include info on using online auctions, and other information that my older version doesn't? |

Hi David,
Back in June of this year, I asked one of the great Chattel-ers of all time to share with me one sentence that would describe chatteling. > Gordon, > Before you take that stroll off into a > Summer Chatteling mode.....would you please > share with me one sentence you would use in > describing Chatteling. Here is what he wrote: Seeds of Wisdom Forum Chatteling is profiteering from buying and selling of personal and/or corporate chattel. American Heritage defines profiteer as: One who makes excessive profits on goods in short supply. And I'll agree with that. -------------------------------------------------- Hope this answeres your question. Re: Yes Yes Yes
You can use the search feature of this message board to find older posts about chatteling. That's what I did when I first came here. I too was scratching my head over that word. But I found the posts about the subject very enlightening and that broadened my understanding of what they mean here by chatteling.
