Autoresponder - any recommendation?

Hi All

I know the word good is relative ... but I have been resourcing and researching on autoresponder ... seems like most websites recommend either Getresponse or Proautoresponder. Honestly, until one has tried in using it then one will be able to know the pros and cons of these 2 companies. :o .... So, guys, which one will you recommend for long term usage when price doesn't come to the picture? Any better recommendation out there?

Thanks a lot for your time and insights!

Sincerely

D.D.

PS. Does all autoresponder needs to be accompanied by text editing software? Why can't we edit it by using the autoresponder itself? :o

Send me a private e-mail, and I'll send you a copy of Adam's Autoresponder (sells for $77) for free.

I've got too many other sticks in the fire to properly promote this project, and I think I'm just going to sell the project, outright. I have a tendency of setting up businesses first and then later fully considering the time investment to market and promote them.

I'm not so concerned about making individual sales right now and am more interested in passing the project along to someone who has the time to promote it, properly. In the meantime, I'm allowing people in the "net marketing" circle to have a free review copy to use and build market awareness.

If you're not in a hurry, you may want to test drive a few. Then you can decide which one is your best choice for your particular needs. Once you compare them with your own experience, I believe it's easier for you to decide. Feel free to drop me a line if you need help.

I use FreeAutobot:

No cost. No ads, except for a link to their free autoresponder service. Runs on their server. Unlimited messages. Unlimited subscribers.

Personalize messages with the person's email address and name. Maximum message size is 20K.

Unsubscribe link is automatically included. No address list import available, but you can add individual names/emails one at a time. You can download your list as a tabbed text file.

Add, edit or delete messages using an online control panel. Search the subscriber list based on message cycle, name, email, start date, last followup, stop status and notes.

Send a broadcast message to all or select subscribers.

Use either an email address (ie. your-autoresponder-name @ freeautobot.com) or a form to have people subscribe. The form stores their IP address in a notes section for each subscriber.
