High-Tech Beggar Makes a Fortune
I remember there's a discussion of 'cyberbegging' here months ago. I just read in a newspaper that:
"Brian Nolan, who has a website asking for donations to pay off his credit card and student loan so he can go to paramedic school, sits next to his computer in Woodland Hills, Calif. More than $40,000 in debt when he posted his site in November. Nolan says he regularly receives more than $1,000 a week." Beats beggars sitting at the sidewalk ... I wonder how well these people can do if they apply the psychology and marketing to a 'regular' Internet business ...
