Wholesale computer sources??
 

Greetings All,

What is the best way to find good wholesalers for computers and maybe some related stuff? What is the best way to sort out the good from the others? Any particular techniques or questions to avoid getting involved with poor sources? Looking for ones that dropship individual units, not semi-loads.

If you are looking for true computer wholesalers, you should only deal with companies who only sell to resellers.

I currently use a marketing system that I've developed to easily sell computers. It's a great business for those willing to learn.

Anywhere there's someone asking about the computer biz, there's Vondre with the marketing campaign! A true testament to entrepreneurism. He's got persistent and consistency tempered by lack of resistent!

Here's how to find suppliers of the computers you want...
 

Dave:

In Australia there is a company called Tech Pacific. They are the largest importer and wholesaler of computers in the country.

You cannot buy from them without an account. You go through a lot of hoops to get an account. And can only keep your account by selling above $X amount of product.

Drop below that mystical dollar amount for a month or two and they won't sell to you any more. And it becomes even harder to get your account back.

They suggest to newcomers, to act as a sub-dealer by buying what is needed from one of their account holders. They will tell you Who the account holders are in your area and what to say to them to get the proper wholesale rate.

This lets you sell single items and do small volume.

But you are not in Australia so you will have to go to the manufacturer.

Two minutes spent on their phone system should reveal the prompts and departments that "dealers" go through. Such as "If you are a dealer requiring parts, press one" kinda thing.

So pick a manufacturer, go to their website and look for a phone number or something to do with dealers. Get in contact with them and ASK them WHO their authorized wholesaler is - tell them you want to sell their computers retail. They will provide you with the contact details you need.

If it's digital cameras. The same applies. Contact the manufacturer and ASK them who their authorized wholesaler/distributor is and then speak with them.

I'm not trying to be a regular poster on this board even though I think there are good brains here. I just want people to know this computer business works!

It doesn't matter if they purchase my stuff or not. The only reason why I put it together besides a little extra cash, is because so many people were e-mailing me about it. I just don't have the time to help everyone individually.

It's really a good cash generater if you use a little creativity to out sell the regular computer shops.

Hey.... it's better than most of those internet businesses that you see on every other web site. Try the computer biz.... it rocks for me!

P.S. Thank goodness I'm a off-line marketer making $$$ in various enterprises including the computer biz because most lurkers on the net have either been burned too many times or don't intend to purchase anyway. I gets the net is about FREE e-books, e-zines, and boards.

I have a brother who builds, sales, and services computers.

I asked him where one could buy computers to resale...here is the URL of one company he said he uses. http://www.tigerdirect.com

I know nothing about this company.
