Hi all
Haven't been here for quite sometimes ... wow ... the posts are giving births! :) Great to see that! :) Anyway, this baby is a bit lost in the world of domain names. :( ... there are cheap ones ... there are bad reviews argh ...!!! Guess the best is hearing from the users themselves .. so, any company to be recommended here? :o ... :o ... I'm looking for an affordable - antispam domain name with good customer service for sure ... any registrar that fits to this scenario? :p Thanks a lot for your help in advance! Re: Domain name registrar - any recommendations?
I'm sure you're about to get TONS of answers. Here's mine. :)
I have been using 000Domains.com for the past three years. They are not the cheapest, but when I've got questions, I get PROMPT answers. I've set up five (5) domains through them, though only 3 are active right now. Cost will vary between $11.00 and $13.50 a year, so you can see they ARE NOT the lowest priced. But, in my estimation, they provide the type of service I need, and want. Re: Domain name registrar -- I recommend...

I highly recommend GoDaddy.com as a registrar. I have all of my domains registered with them. I've never had a problem. $8.95/year or less for a dot com registration. I use mydomain.com for forwarding/stealth-forwarding. It's free! Hope this helps... JDB Proven Tips, Tools, and Tactics... |
Thanks, guys ... :) between Godaddy vs Dotster? :o
Hi :)
Ya .. heard of 000domains.com :) Thanks for that ... but looking at godaddy and dotster right now .. seems like godaddy has more fans hahaha! :) Anyway, it has been really really helpful! :) Thanks a lot, guys! Sincerely D.D. |
I LOVE Godaddy.com for registering domain names.
Their domain control center is really easy to understand and use, too.

Re: I LOVE Godaddy.com for registering domain names.
Hi,
Another choice is www.powerpipe.com. Their price is US $7.99 per year per domain name (for .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us). They offer mail forwarding for free (godaddy.com charges for it). I have many domains registered with them and I've never had any problems (needless to say, I am not their affiliate). I hope this helps. Mike > Wow! :) > Thanks!! :) That's really helpful! :p |
