Protection From A-Bomb Fallout

Hi:

The other night I was driving home very late and I happened to tune into the AM radio show Coast to Cost AM.

During the show, an ad came on for a product called NO-RAD or something very close to that name. And I kid you not, it is a product that is supposed to protect you from the effects of FALLOUT after a nuclear holocaust!

They are trying to sell something you can use after DOOMSDAY. Now that is a real marketing spin job.

Lets just say you DO buy NO-RAD.

And somehow, we end up getting hit by the A-Bomb.

You're feeling confident and safe. You bought NO-RAD. Fallout- who cares.

The only catch is, if NO-RAD doesn't work, who are you going to complain to? I doubt after doomsday, there will be any NO-RAD offices open for product refunds.

Thats all for now, I have to go get some plastic and duct-tape along with a case of NO-RAD :)

I'm not ready.....

My plastic, duct tape, and No-rad are still sitting in the store. I've never heard of no-rad before. That's a new one on me, those commercials haven't hit the midwest yet (we're probably not a "target" market.)

Not to say that protective measures are useless, on the contrary, many are. Some just give piece of mind, but like you pointed out what if it doesn't work? BTW, how did they test this? LOL.

I have some bottled water on hand, and I suppose when my time comes, I'll try to go gracefully.

Regards,
Loree
