Directory of Ezines...??

Hey Y'all,

I have read and heard that the Directory of Ezines is a valuable resource to have if one is going to do joint ventures, place ads, submit articles etc.

I am trying to promote a boot camp by writing and submitting articles to the directory, and need your advice. Has anyone had past experience with the directory and do you think it wise to join?

Thanks for your advice!

Warmly,

Aaron

Hi Aaron,

I've not used this myself. I would rather take the time and post my articles to quality sites. Besides, each ezine has different requirements, and it's my feeling that an automated source just doesn't get the job done for me.

I agree with that!

Hello Aaron,

Like Pete, I too would have reservations about using automated services to send out my articles. I'm actually getting more into article marketing of late, and I prefer to also send them to sites myself. It does take more time, but you can manually oversee the process yourself; plus, you know exactly which sites you're sending them to.

Just my opinion. :-)

Take care and have a great day!

Sincerely,

Re: Directory of Ezines...??

I might be wrong, but if this is the Directory of Ezines Aaron's talking about, it's not what you guys think it is. The directory of ezines I know is a directory listing ezine publishers for those that may want to advertise in them or develop joint ventures with them and has nothing to do with automatic submission of articles to other sites.

In any case, I haven't used them myself Aaron, but they've been around for quite a while and I think Charlie Page is the real deal. If you publish a newsletter yourself or want to advertise a product in other newsletters, I'd think you might want to check it out.

Hello Steve,

Good point - I was thinking this was a totally different service from the one Charlie Page provides, but that's true - there is that Directory of Ezines as well. Thanks for bringing that up. From what I have heard, I agree that Charlie does seem like the real deal and does have a great reputation, though I have not personally used the service either.

Take care and have a great day!

Sincerely,

I Stand PARTIALLY Corrected...Re: Directory of Ezines...??

Again, I've never used this service, but WHY would I "join" something like this, when a simple Google search puts you in touch with Ezine Directories that are free?

Here's one that will help you. No cost, and it's also divided up by specific areas of interest. Ezine-Directory.com

Good luck.

Pete
