WAP and Content

Gordon,

In the October 2 issue of The Industry Standard there is an article entitled "Misrepresenting WAP" that makes the point that content is king:

snip--

"After all, while iMode's content is highly popular in Japan, few Americans will pay to download a cartoon each day or to play a virtual fishing game. Again, the key is developing content that meets the audience's expectations.

To counter WAP's problems, service providers must continue to push for improved content and better data-entry solutions – or ways to minimize data-entry requirements."

end of snip--

Kinda supports what you have been saying...
THEY need CONTENT. If WE can provide the CONTENT, then WE should be smiling all the way to the bank...

Thanks John... excellent article, and

I agree with you, it does support what Gordon has been saying -- and the overall direction of Gordon's upcoming web site, ePubAdvisor....

Thanks... :)
