Re: Google hits the streets... Privacy concerns & business ideas?
Hi Phil,
I fail to understand all the people that have been worrying about "privacy" since Google started this. The first thing to remember is this (at least in the US): Nothing is "private" on a public street, or in a public place. It's the first thing you're taught when you get into the newspaper/broadcasting business. Therefore... If seeing you walking/driving down "xyz" street is "invading your privacy", then just might be you weren't supposed to be there in the first place! :) Part two: There's bound to be a "business" twist to this thing somewhere. Guess you could paint your biz name in 2-foot white letters on the street. But then, you'd probably be in violation of city laws. :( Pete |
