Staarting a new community website and could use some help
Hey does anybody know of any good writers or places to find good writers who have experience in internet marketing, copywriting, email marketing, and building an opt in list.
And who might be willing to contribute to my new community website. I've been through the most popular article directories. No real luck there. Just a bunch of spammers. Right now, it's not a paid opportunity, because it's just getting started. However I do have some ideas about how to monetize it for the future. Your suggestions are much appreciated. Keir |

I'm not sure what exactly your community website will be about... ? Remember, for anything to happen, usually there has to be a "win/win" proposition... That is, for people to contribute, they have to feel they'll get something out of it. (Since I'm not sure exactly what your community website is, it's not clear to me what this win/win proposition is in your case...) Anyway, that's something to keep in mind. If people are to contribute, they have to get something out of it too (which is of value to them)... All of business (at least the legitimate ones!) are based on win/win propositions... The customer gets something which they value, so they win. And the entrepreneur gets paid, so they win too. The key point is - everybody has to "win". Even if there's no actual money involved, the "win/win" part of it still has to hold true for it to work... For example, with article directories, as an example, there's a win/win situation there as well. Article directories get articles, which they can put ads alongside, and get paid if people click on the ads - so they win. However, people who write the articles win too - because it's a means for them to promote their product or service... They get "traffic" to see their sales message, and they get a link back to their website. So even though no money has exchanged hands, each side still "wins" - and that's why it works. Re: Starting a new community website and could use some help
Hey, thanks Dien.
I didn't know if it was ok to be more specific in my previous post. So here is some more information. I know I said community site...but last night I got to thinking about it and it's more like a content site that will be focused on internet marketing. i look at internet marketing as a broad subject that would have all of the other parts that are related as well. Like email marketing, blog marketing, opt in list marketing..etc. Then people who have experience in these areas can become authors and contribute articles to the site. Then for every 7 articles that they write that are related to a particular subject it would then be turned into a minicourse for them...or they could use it in an autoresponder series. Now every author that contributes articles would then have free access to the other authors minicourses to use in their business as well. Then as time goes on..the authors would do interviews of the other authors to create special reports on different subjects. Basically each author will help out the other author by using their courses, reports, and other products that come out of the site. I guess that's why I was thinking about the community site idea. Because in a way that's what it would be. Authors could drop off their newsest articles..and while they are there pick up an ecourse, special report and interview series to use in their business. Hope that helps. Keir |
