The Bold Words in the article are clickable. (And I thought the Patriot Act was a Doozy).

I can't help but be reminded of High Chancellor Adam Sutler in V for Vendetta and Darth Sidious (Emperor Palpatine) from Star Wars.

I would have suggested to have a Look at Ron Paul for the 2008 election - read some of his writings here. But the way this new directive is going, there might not even be an election in 2008. Of course, time will tell. But it's disconcerting nonetheless.

Sounds just like the paranoid buzz about Clinton and Y2K. I remember that exact quote several times back then also - no need for elections, the anti-christ has granted himself ultimate power.

When Hillary is President I imagine these kinds of ideas will be even more commonplace. Time will tell I guess...

I too was going to suggest that people familiarize themselves with Ron Paul and his campaign. Common sense logical thinking like I've never seen from any politician. Ever. Thanks for mentioning it Michael.
