Gordon --

I'm all for ezines as you might imagine. I do not like HTML ezines at all. Often they are unreadable in my mail reader of choice.

What would I like to see? Depends on what the focus is. Sowpub is pretty broad so that might be hard to pin down. Fortunately I think you some "personality" behind you and that will carry you further than "information" only in my opinion. What I find the most useful anymore is practical information. "I tried this and it worked" sort of stuff.

Format wise - I agree with you about newsletters with two columns. I found you comment about affiliate programs for those without websites interesting also.

One tip. Get a way to track your results before you publish. We started doing this - running all our links through a link tracker. You'll immediately start seeing trends that will suprise you. Without that you have no way of knowing what items interest you readers.

Hope that helps a bit.

Gordon, I enjoy zines with real life rags to riches stories and real nuts and bolts about how they did it. Maybe with some comments advice from the Guru would also help.

I believe Ron Ruiz or Mike Norton it doing this in some fashion now
