As I posted in my response to Mike Ross, I started this thread not to find a "WOW" factor for the line of products I'm working on but to prod other folks into talking about a topic that I think gets a pretty short shift. I (think) the normal response most marketers give a product that is unsuccessful is that the marketing was poor for that product rather than it was DOA out of the chute because it had nothing special about it.
