Places to advertise my online SERVICES?
 

Hi,

For a few years now, I've been providing web-based services namely CGI/Perl & PHP script installation and customization services.

I generally get a steady flow of work from "word-of-mouth" type referrals and repeat work.

Up until now, I haven't bothered with a Web site advertising these services but I've now created a fairly simple site as it seemed to make sense.

I figure I might as well be a bit more active in advertising my services so the question is can anybody point me to any online resources where I could advertise my services.

Please note that I am already aware of such resources such as 'elance.com' and 'rentacoder.com' but I am more after the types of resources where I can drive traffic to my site.

I would try approaching hosting resellers, site designers, template sites, and sites offering script downloads. You could probably work a deal out with some of those sites (paid advertising, referral fees, or something similiar) and they would already have traffic that is somewhat targeted for you.
