The Master Key System

I have a little favor to ask.

I have been closely studying "The Master Key System," by Charles F. Haanel, and I have been "slain" by the principles he shared in that book.

I just wonder if anyone else has had a chance to read Haanel's book, and what impact, if any, it has had on him or her?

Is THIS the book that inspired Bill Gates?

I haven't read "The Master Key System" (or even heard of it until now).... But if you haven't read the book, and you'd like to, you can find it online for free here....

As that web page says....

Rumor has it that while he was attending Harvard University, Bill Gates discovered and read The Master Key System. It was this book that inspired Bill Gates to drop out of the University and pursue his dream of "a computer on every desktop."

Of course, it's just a rumor... Or is it? :)

According to what I've read elsewhere, Charles Haanel was a very successful entrepreneur BEFORE he wrote "The Master Key System"....

Hmmm.... Sounds like it could be worth a look. :)

I've read it... got it...
 

A guy (let's call him Joe) found it ages ago. Read it. Loved it. Found out it was in the public domain and republished it. Gave me a copy to read - and so I could figure out how to sell 'em in bulk, for a percentage.

I generated two sales to "test" his honesty. Still haven't received payment.

Guess Joe didn't follow his own book - which he changed a few words around. In case someone else decided to publish it and used his published version as the source of the text. Then he would know and would get them for copyright violation.

The book is rumoured to have been banned by the Catholic church. Was also written before Think and Grow Rich. With TAGR possibly imitating Chucky's work. Book could also be describd as the grandfather of such books. Was originally to be sold as a course. Each chapter sent after each previous chapter complete.

It still doesn't contain the one missing element explained in The Success Report.

Interesting read.
