Free Publicity Idea: Free Hugs Day

2. 5th July is International Free Hugs Day

3. Create 3-4 big "Free Hugs" charts. Go to the mall or to a busy place in your town on 5th July for 2-3 hours. Its a Saturday so office districts is out.

4. Send press releases to the local media and bloggers 1-2 days before hand with the time and location.

5. Tag your biz opp with free hugs. And earn free publicity. (You could do it for fun too - without tagging your biz opp to it...)

Ideas:

i. You could organize the free hugs right outside your shop.

ii. You could wear a t-shirt that promotes your co.

iii. You could ask a friend to give away some promo material / goodies to people who pass you by - after they've hugged you.

iv. If you're a real hustler, you could also organize a whole coupon booklet that can be given away to people who hug you - where other businesses pay you to include their coupons.

Any other ideas you've got?

6. Take video of everything. And upload it on youtube.

My son says with 28M views, they should have been linking to a web site - all that traffic!
