Local Seminars... AGAIN!

Well, folks, I finally cracked the code, personally, for providing seminars for more than five people.

Since we have been talking about the class model, I thought it might be appropriate to mention this.

For quite a while I've worked singly with clients one-on-one. While this can and is profitable, I wanted to do something with less time invested per client.

I now have several potential private clients, if I want them, but have seminar participants that are happy to learn how to grow businesses in a group.

Less wear for me and more money in the long run.

Cheers,

Millard

Millard,

Thanks for sharing.

Um... question... so what then is the Code you cracked to get more than Five people into a class?

Two words: Referral Marketing

More later.... in a hurry.... out the door!

As I thought...

Millard,

Thanks for the two words.

I figured as much. As that's what we discussed here ages ago with marketing Seminars... use someone else's list and have their endorsement. Exactly what Bill Myers did for the DM Bootcamp, for example.

Trying to sell seats in a seminar by Blind Marketing - marketing to the masses - is darn expensive. And too hit/miss. But market to someone else's list and have their endorsement too-boot, and you can Fill a seminar.

Re: As I thought...

dont know if Millard has had any success with the method, but several of the warriors claim to have had great referrals from the SBA in their area. I have not ...

maybe some of youse guys can tho ...

Re: As I thought...

The SBA in my area DOES NOT want to do seminars, workshops, or training, thank you.

This fact is what drove me to develop more effective uses of my High Impact methods AND the use of referrals to get in the door.

Cheers,

Millard

sounding more and more 'secretive' and a build up to

"SelectiveSeminarsfor Dummies"
or

"how to get filthy rich doing nothing but being mysterious"

I think it is funny when posters don't have the guts to sign their name to posts because they may offend someone? Ha!

I already mentioned that I am using referral marketing.

If you'll look in the archives, referral marketing has been discussed quite a bit. That's all I'm doing... no product is forth-coming. :)

Cheers,

Millard

Clearly you're pretty new here...

Millard Grubb has been posting to this forum for many, many years (at least as far back as 2002)... He has never been anything other than very "giving" with his knowledge and experience... I have personally learned much from him!

Thanks, I say, to the Millard Grubbs of the world! We'd be far better off if there were more people like him! (And like many of the other, also very giving, participants of this forum...)

Just a-speakin' my mind,

Dien

P.S. Having said that, there's nothing wrong, too, if anyone wants to create an info-product from what they know... In fact, more people should do it!

Millard,

I think you mis-read Bob's post.

He did NOT suggest that you do anything other than see if your local SBA might provide you with referrals.

Big diff between "putting on seminars" and providing you with referrals.

Pete
