Putting the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together....
Hiya Blackbeard!
> Bullet 1: You don't need millions of > Internet users to make money quick, just a > local crowd. Very true! The only internet-related thing here was Pamela Noon's attempt to use an online auction to sell the clothing she used on her show, which wasn't successful (at least not in the time limit). > Bullet 2: Fun = $$$. Celebrities, girls, > auctions and parties are fun. Yes! I noticed that too.... :) I think "Crazy Ron" used his own name-recognition (at least where he's based, on the Gold Coast) a lot. Cameron Fisher didn't have any name-recognition himself, but he *bought* it, by having celebrity guest speakers for his two events! So, even if you're not famous, you can buy the time of famous people instead to give you a head start.... They do it all the time for infomercials! :) > Bullet 3: Toe-to-toe salesmanship can't be > beat! Yes, definitely "Crazy Ron" was the ultimate salesman! He was *always* full of an incredibly infectious enthusiasm for everything, which was hard not to be influenced by! The other two weren't as talented in their sales ability as "Crazy Ron." What I thought was interesting is that you don't have to be! Cameron Fisher, for the business luncheon, *hired* others -- the telemarketers -- to do the selling for him. I thought Cameron's strategy was the most interesting myself. He relied less on his own talents, and more on putting all the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle. Such as using the telemarketers (there were 3 of them, he paid them $20 per hour each I think to cold-call those who might come to the business luncheon), and organizing the two celebrity guest speakers. > Bullet 4: Neither can all-cash businesses > LOL! Yes... There's still money to be made. :) > Bullet 5: You've gotta have credibility to > get a quick start. Here's where "Crazy Ron" definitely had a head start on the other two, I think -- he had the biggest public name recognition on his "home turf." "Crazy Ron" also tied his party into a big local event which people were already excited about.... You can learn how to do this effectively in Gordon Alexander's Remote Hypnosis! It's clearly a powerful technique! Since Cameron Fisher wasn't a celebrity himself, he "hired" name-recognition in the form of his celebrity guest speakers. :) This has given me *lots* of ideas.... Even some of the smaller money-makers they tried were interesting. I'm going to go to a promotional products place today (if I can) to check things out.... I got this idea from Cameron Fisher buying his pens for resale.... I already have some ideas up my sleeve.... Have fun! :) Dien Rice |
