PS. About my GOLF background...

It is true that I've dabbled in many things.

I have a lot of eclectic experience under my Santa Claus size belt (honest, my diet starts tomorrow)...

But there are 3 things that I know. I'll accept the label of Expert or even Master if you will on:

Golf.
Pizza.
Living with Persons with Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities.

I don't believe I've ever claimed expertise in any other fields...but my mind ain't what it used to be either.

I CLAIM this expertise in these 3 areas based on this:

30 years of teaching the game of golf, having had my own golf instruction shop, managed a golf shop and taught thousands of people the game.

During an intense 3 year period, I videotaped over 10,000 different golf swings. In my golf shop I had laser tracking devices, computer analysis, radar guns and speed and angle measuring devices, high speed video cameras...the latest and greatest in golf technology.

I also worked with Master PGA Professional Don Haftman, PGA Pros Dan Fisher and John Paul Jones and PGA Pro Tom McKinney who established and helped build one of the first golf courses here in Akron for people in wheel chairs. Neat people. I also had several women professionals work in my shops too.

I did THINK AND REACH PAR as a seminar in the 80's. HOW TO PLAY AN UNKNOWN GOLF COURSE since the early 90's.

I know golf. Started playing at 10, and building clubs in my teens. Back in the days when you actually had to cut and shape wood, do whippings, bend shafts...all of that lost art. Today, you just glue things together.

I know pizza too. And working with Mentally Retarded people, but I'll save those for another day.

Golf has been the ONE constant in my diverse journey. Golf has been the ONE thing I've not tired of nor have I learned all there is to know, it is a bottomless pit of knowledge I'll continue to explore till the day I die.

So, I may be an "able" marketer, and can write some copy now and then, I've never claimed EXPERT status with these (although I have been paid well for doing it none the less)...but...

here is where I'll come out of my shell and announce to the world, I KNOW GOLF.

And what I know can help you or any golfer you know become better and enjoy the game even more.

Just thought you might like to know I didn't just create a product for a hot market, I've been in that market when it was ICE cold, it's like being a fan of the Cleveland Indians...today we grin...

but for decades we groaned.

Now all of golf is grinning too, thanks to TIGER.

You neglected..

I don't think you give yourself enough
credit for your PROMOTIONAL skills..you
left that off the list in your post...mmm
freudian slip...

It seems 80% of sales in any field is the
ability to PROMOTE either directly or remotely...
Everything you've written does an Excellent
Job at PROMOTING, yet you didn't mention this
as a skill...

Looking forward to your next projects around
this important skill!
