Move Over Firefox, It's Chrome Time

I do not use Internet Explorer. I use Firefox. But, I have put Firefox aside in favor of Chrome - Google's Web Browser http://www.google.com/chrome (No, it's not advertiser supported.)

That's an interesting site you linked to there, Phil. Going to save me tons of time explaining things to certain folks. Thanks!

Michael, do you really trust Google that much? Not so sure I do. I'll look but....I still like my Firefox, just not their latest upgrade...it's a pit. Thanks for the info, however.

Re: Move Over Firefox, It's Chrome Time

Sandi,

Thanks.

I've got no probs with the latest Firefox.

Found this with Chrom http://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/...features.html# is has a series of Short - less than 30 seconds - videos of using some of its features.

Interestingly, they have an Incognito feature. Where your surfing is not recorded in the browser - nothing stored, no history, etc. Hmmm.

As for Trusting them. I don't allow the browser to Report back to Google. Of course, it could be doing it in secret. Like sending info to Google while I'm waiting for a page to load. Even though I have selected to Not report usage to Google. But the same could be said of any Browser.

yes sure google Chrome is the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/ and it was normal too, hitherto i used firefox which chocked my browsing capabilities .
But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier
