We're all given the same amount of time, it's what we do with it and how constructively we allocate it that matters most. > ONE danger about success is that it can eat > up large chunks of your time, that you could > be spending with your children. Oh man, Gordon, you are realling hitting home with this one. I have 2 small kids, and this is definitely a subject my wife and I have concentrated on (and are doing it successfully) so that this doesn't happen. It's not easy, and I especially feel for those single parents out there. That's doubly tough. > Some people with children, make the > children’s LIVES the lifestyle they choose, > like Rick Smith, the Net Guerrilla who gets > up at 5 am to get his son to a class at > church. Kudos to Rick for having his priorities in order. > It is easier for people without children to > pick up and move or to start and stop a > business. So, having children does make it > more difficult, which is all the more reason > to admire those people of success. It IS harder, but like most desired outcomes, it CAN be accomplished. There's always a way. The kids have to come first though no matter what. > When you read about what Linda Caroll did at > that time of her life and how she has chosen > the path of success it makes it all the more > remarkable. Absolutely! What a *great* story she has.
