What I noticed is that these are *immediate* benefits....

Those are great responses!

It seems freedom and independence from having to be under someone else's "command" over them is probably a big motivation....

And what Mike said too makes sense to me, those who want a chance to live their passion....

In both these situations, the "benefit" is immediate. You immediately become your own boss, and can immediately begin to work with your passion....

Whereas with a "money" benefit it is actually a delayed benefit, which may not even work out for everybody....
