Re: Do you want ones for 100?
Hi Gordon,
I totally understand about having more projects than time. And that's a shame because if I remember right one of the book titles you came up with I really liked "How to cook in a small space, for a large crowd." The problem as I see it is that it takes too much time, blood, sweat and tears to produce a cookbook like all the ones you list. So here's an idea to cut everything to at least half the time and effort. You already have your Navy recipes and an old Army cookbook with recipes for a 100 or more. That brought up a thought from my old cooking days -- that I could not remember any really good cookbooks for restaurant cooks and chefs. So why not just compile the recipes from both books into one large cookbook for restaurant cooks and chefs? Other than a simple foreword at the front of the book, that's all the writing you would have to do. And what a great niche market -- all the restaurant cooks and chefs in the world. Just a thought. Mel Locke P.S. Thanks for the recipe offer. But what I'm really looking for right now is the world's greatest recipe for a spaghetti sauce. And I don't think you're going to find that in a military cookbook. Templates2go |
