Care for some carrot ice-cream?
 

Apparently, Haagen-Dazs thinks people in Japan do... Since in Japan, they've just come out with both carrot and also tomato-flavored ice cream!

Sound delicious?

Maybe it's a way to get kids to eat their vegetables?

Hey, sometimes things go off on surprising trends... Or could form a profitable niche market. I have a feeling "carrot ice cream" could be a profitable niche market, even outside of Japan, if someone created it... (Or maybe I've just been working too hard...!)

Celebrate your birthday with Carrot Cake and Ice Cream!

Not too sure about that tomato ice cream, though. I'd rather just stick with the old standards!

But... carrot ice cream saves time, compared to separate carrot cake and ice cream... ;)
