Everyday Business with a Twist
If you have a son or daughter in college, here is a way for them to make some extra money on the side.
A great example of an everyday business (cleaning) developing a Unique Selling Proposition (focusing on cleaning dorm rooms/college rentals following parties). The name says is all - Hangover Helpers. To me, the business could be expanded to cover major holidays as well (Christmas Clean Up, Thanksgiving, etc) https://www.facebook.com/HangoverHelpers Never use the excuse that the market is over-saturated, just make yourself and your message stand out from the crowd. It is basic advice, but it is amazing at how many businesses do not follow it. Paul P.S. Not sure I would be offering to cook breakfast for the clients without first confirming laws and regulations. |
Re: Everyday Business with a Twist
2 guys in my Frat House started a "Birthday Cake Delivery Service". They delivered B'Day Cakes to students......on their B'Days.....paid for by the Parents.
I don't remember how they got the names of the parents or what they charged BUT.....I do know that both were driving newer cars and.....they operated this for 2 years. Don Alm |
