My tummy’s getting fatter…

How do these people on the TV keep slim?

Do I need to buy an Ab-Thigh-Buns-Vibration-Flex-Master 1000 from one of those late night ads?

I did lose some weight... and my health improved a bit... through old fashion dieting and counting calories...

But - I’m a terrible exerciser. I don’t know about you, but I get bored.

I’ve tried listening to music, listening to talks... so far, what works best for me is listening to stand-up comedy while I walk...

Any "secrets" anyone wants to reveal?!

Maybe if I get on a TV show, I’ll magically slim down?!

Intermittent fasting.
This helps you manipulate carbs without much calculating. You'll lose weight and its easy to keep it off with this.

Read this book for more info (its free) John Berardi - Great nutritionist.

Focus on 90% success on the plan.

Thanks,

I got the book! Looks good... I'm sure I'll learn a lot...!

I have tried a form of intermittent fasting, and I did find I had some success with it. I then got lazy though.

I'm sure the book will help re-inspire me. :)

Best wishes,

Dien

I hope it'll.

As far as workout is concerned.
Look into Tabata Protocol (4 minute of high intensity training).
Or Escalating density training Charles staley. (for EDT, sets and reps doesn't matter).
Add a kettlebell with any of the above protocols, you can get high quality workout in about 10 minutes or less.

I looked up Tabata Protocol, and it sounds intense...!

As luck would have it, I just caught something (which is why I was a bit slow in replying, as I was in bed all day feeling sick)... I need to remember this once I get over my current thing I've caught, though...

Best wishes,

Dien

Re: My tummy’s getting fatter…

Dien,

Find a building with at least 3 flights of stairs. Walk up and down for as long as you can. Time yourself. If you can only do it for 30 minutes the first day, do it for 35 minutes the next day. Then up it 5 minutes until you get to an hour. Once at the hour count how many times you walk up and down the stairs. Let's say you do it seven times in an hour. When it starts feeling comfortable, pick up the speed. Always try to add one repetition a day until your ass is worn out.

By the time that happens you will see a noticeable difference in girth and weight. Oh yeah, don't take any milk shake breaks :o :o :o

Hi Tom,

Stairs are a great idea... I'm not sure I'd even last 30 minutes! But, I guess everyone's gotta start somewhere...!

I'd have to travel to find a building with 3 sets of stairs, but I could probably do it... (There are a lot of "flat" buildings where I live...)

Thanks for the tip, Tom!

Dien

P.S. Whoops! I was looking forward to the milk shake break! ;)
