If you are one of us
you know you don't fit in you struggle to conform you hesitate to begin We don't get the them, the ones over there the minions of the masses controlled by stupid men Thank God you found us and now you know you are not alone we will help each other through and in helping give us more You and I, we and us all together marching to the odd ball drummer while they goose step hypnotized We take the baton and go in front down alleys dark and blind they follow us cause it is what they do when you control their mind You have been seeking, looking knowing we were there, somewhere and perhaps your inner voice found our binaural beat buried in the sky and you rejoiced when we appeared at just the perfect time We knew that you were coming our bread crumbs insured your path your random steps now locked in you've found a home at last gingerbread walls and candied roof you can't get enough you eat it up, beg for more so we gladly sell you stuff. |

But maybe there's a "home" for "oddballs" like us in this here odd bunch... :) Many think that starting your own business is "crazy"... But... in reality, today... maybe it's the only sane option!! Best wishes, Dien |
When the oddball finds his tribe,
the Chief gets more feathers for his headdress.
The need to belong, is one of the most powerful of desires and playing to that need via understanding, empathy and shared frustration (with a solution to boot)... is THE strategy used by IM gurus big and small. It is probably more of a secret of influence than anything else. Not sure starting a business helps, but, joining in and taking advantage of the fast growing underground economy could be. .j Quote:

Writers have always been on the fringe of society in many ways... sharing our deep-seated stories, emotions and fantasies with the rest of the world so we can all feel connected. Yet, the act is so isolating at time.
I used to read this forum a long time ago and it just came back into my head recently and I'm so pleasantly surprised to see it's still here and active! Hi Gordon, hope you've been well :) -Amy http://www.writepunch.com |
