E-Book creation software questions
 

I just visited the Adobe website. They seem to suggest two products to create e-books :

1. Adobe Acrobat 5.0 (approx. $380.00 Canadian).

2. Adobe Content Server 2.0 (price not on website).

Are these the best products to produce e-books ?

What other less expensive alternatives (software) are there, hopefully with security features built in ?
