Help me with pricing for an app idea
 

Thank you for reading about my idea and helping me evaluate if it can be monetized or not.

So I was getting a small app developed for my own needs. And am thinking if there would be interest for others to buy it too.

The app is simple: it pulls out email id of everyone who unsubscribed from your mailing list in the last week. And creates a targeted facebook ad campaign ("We miss you, please give us another chance") to get them to resubscribe. The idea is to automate this entire thing. Set it and forget it.

Would you pay for something like this? If so, how much per year would you pay?

Hi Ankesh,

It's a good idea. I'm not sure I'd pay for it at this point in time, though it may be something I'd be interested in the future...

I guess in my case I don't feel it would be that useful... I actually don't get many people unsubscribing...

(Though that could also be because I should be sending out emails more often!)

As a marketer I am really not interested in having anyone back on my list that unsubscribed. If someone unsubscribed and later wants back on then they are free to subscribe again, but to beg them to come back...not going to happen.

Just my viewpoint.

I really do not know if I'd paid for that app. Though, It might be a better idea. Honestly, I'll get other options too.
