Default Worms, Crabs.....

Merging Social Programs with Entrepreneurship
models...if interested read the following:

http://www.centerforrenewal.org/reports/socialentre.htm

Also a few thoughts...
1) Many troubled youth may be budding entrepreneurs without positive mentors...if
you can organize elaborate drug running businesses
just think what you can do with legal products.
Jim Brown, former Football great, has started
to address this issue...

2) There is just too much emphasis in some
communities on "getting an education"(meaning
going to college)...some people may be better
suited to different types of work. "a mind is
a terrible thing to waste" if it's aimed at
a "degree" just for the sake of making mom
happy-how about channeling that energy into
learning trades, learning how to set up business
ventures etc....

3) What happened to all the Junior Achievement
programs in the public schools?

4) Many "homeschooled" and "unschooled" children
are doing well: thankyou very much...what is
the message here?
5) many who have dropped out of school are
billionaires: what is the message here?

6) does getting a degree mean you're brilliant?
think about it...or does it mean you know
how to "leverage" "OPB" or "OPR"(if you need
to ask what this means: get Michael's report
on Leverage...

7) what about the great old men without an
education(whatever that means) who built homes,
communities, gardens, farms and took care of
their families...

Goverment agencies are in business to self
perpetuate, to reward based on the peter
principle, to create more problems than
solutions(so they can employ more bureaucrats)...
Oh my..if we solve the poverty problem we'd
put all the bureaucrats out of business: we
wouldn't want to do that? (being sarcastic here)
Try using a brain when you work for government
or worse yet use the word "commonsense" and
you will be stoned and tossed out of the window...

Finished with my rant for the day....
Thanks Gordon for opening up this can of worms
or letting the crabs out of the barrel..
