Default An info product derived from a Proofreading business?

Hi all

As some of you know, we run an online proofreading service which is slowly but surely becoming more successful. Some of the points we make very strongly are that it's usually hard to proofread your own work, and that some people are naturals at proofreading but most aren't. It's something I've tried to be good at for years, but I still make mistakes, whereas my wife (who actually does the work!) is a natural and can't see what the problem is:-)

So, we've set the stage in that way. Now, I'd love to develop an info product using our knowledge of proofreading, but have we painted ourselves into a corner with the stance we are taking? There seems to be an anomaly when we say "give your work to us because most people can't proofread their own work" and "here's a resource you can buy which will show you how to do it yourself".

I'm thinking as I'm typing of course and something else just sprang into my mind. What about an info product "How to set up and develop an online proofreading business"? We know that, people being what they are, 95% of the people who might buy such a resource won't do the work anyway, so it shouldn't create too much competition.

Any opinions out there please?

Many thanks

Philip
