Thanks for sharing, Oliver. 'Free' works very well with consumer market, however, simply giving away something without a well-thought marketing plan can be costly. Charging S & H is usually a good way to qualify the prospects.
When people in business spend money, they're thinking more about the money as 'an investment to make more money' - as a consumer they're thinking more about 'saving money' (and taking advantage of freebies).
