Default Well put, Simon...

You MUST concentrate on the subject you know best. You cannot be an expert in ALL fields, even though our college/university system tries to make you think you can be.

You MUST have a well rounded education, know how to read, write, and do the math... But unless you intend to specialize in biogenetics, cutting up a frog in high school isn't really going to make you successful.

About a month ago I had a choice... I could spend MONTHS learning a new computer language to get a project done I've wanted to do for years... OR I could find someone willing to do that work for me while I concentrated on preparing the marketing materials.

In the end, I found two people to do programming for me. One as a partner, and one as a backup contract programmer.

Come tomorrow, I am going to see how "lazy" I am when it comes to actually selling our finished product to several prospective clients...
